Quick Gauge Change Dial/Cylinder

With the increased demand for total flexibility in the potential of all machines, the ability to change the gauge of double jersey machines in hours not days is very important.
Previously changing the cylinder and dial required specialised lifting equipment, as it was necessary to remove the dial hub completely. With advances in engineering technology, it is now possible to change both the dial and cylinder with the same ease as that of changing a single jersey cylinder.

Procedure:

Rubber seals are fitted to protect the dial and cylinder verges.
The dial hub is lowered to leave the dial resting on the cylinder.
The dial and cylinder are removed as a pair (as with single jersey).
The above procedure is carried out in reverse for fitting the new dial and cylinder.
